Contract Management

Solutions for healthcare

Contract Management

Turn contracted value into delivered value.

Signing the contract isn't the end of the procurement process. We help healthcare organisations ensure suppliers deliver the performance, value and benefits they committed to.

01 · The challenge

The contract must continue to deliver after signature.

Diagnostic contracts can be large, complex and long-term.

Over time, demand changes, technology develops, prices move and the service itself evolves.

Without active management, the gap between what was contracted and what is actually being delivered can grow significantly.

03 · The benefit

Protect the value you negotiated.

Effective contract management can identify unnecessary cost, improve supplier performance and ensure contractual commitments are being met.

We help organisations understand what they should be receiving, what they are actually receiving and where value is being lost.

05 Monitor

We combine contract analysis with an understanding of the underlying diagnostic operation.

That allows us to look beyond whether contractual terms are technically being met and assess whether the agreement is actually delivering the clinical, operational and financial outcomes intended.

Contracting and handover in practice.

From procurement to contracting and handover

Lifecycle’s end-to-end procurement support for CHI’s SMA and SCID testing solution included negotiating final contract terms, securing signatures and establishing clear handover protocols for the implementation team.

Contractual obligations were integrated into existing laboratory workflows and IT arrangements, connecting the agreed solution with practical delivery. The screening service progressed to full implementation and patient testing began.

“ensuring seamless integration into national laboratory services.”

Contract management framework showing supplier accountability, commercial value, performance and benefits

Turning the selected solution into a signed contract and a practical route to implementation.

Contracting

Lifecycle negotiated final contract terms and secured signatures for the novel SMA and SCID newborn screening solution. Contractual obligations were structured around the agreed clinical, scientific, operational and digital requirements.

Handover

Clear protocols connected the completed procurement with the implementation team. This ensured the selected solution could be integrated into existing laboratory workflows and IT arrangements without losing the requirements and commitments established during evaluation.

Outcome

The programme progressed from procurement into full implementation, with patient testing underway. It demonstrates how disciplined contracting and handover protect value and turn a preferred-supplier decision into an operational healthcare service.

Lifecycle’s role

  • Final contract negotiation and signature
  • Clear supplier obligations and governance
  • Implementation handover protocols
  • Alignment with laboratory workflows and IT
